Care Package for my Twins

The hubs and I are missing the twins so much. They left on the 15th and it's been way to quiet. We decided to send them a care package to let them know that we're thinking of them. Hubby's initial idea was to do a box of sunshine. I wanted to do a bit of research first. When I saw the Blue package, I knew this was it. I sent Hubs to the store and he returned with some great stuff. I just need to top the box off with some blue tissue paper and it will be ready to send. I just wish that I could include a camera of some sort to watch the boys opening the box.

Cakes - part 2

I've been an aunt for 16 years. My nephew was born in 2000. 10 years later, I became a bonus (step) mom to twin boys. Needless to say, the majority of the cakes I've made were for boys. I love looking through my past cakes. I really think that my most favorite cake is the Harry Potter one.

 

I love being a step mom

Rich and I have been married for just about 6 years. We tried to get pregnant but with no success. Our plans to have a baby together were stopped in its tracks due to a serious medical scare. I have fully recovered from my surgery. I no longer have the ability to get pregnant. My sweet husband had the wisdom to remind me to be grateful for the children we do have. We have his sons once or twice a year for visitation. I truly do love them as my own. I really don't understand why people treat step children differently. All children are a gift. 

My boys are growing up too fast. Look at how they've changed over the years. (I'm sorry but the pictures are out of order)

We tend to go a bit over the top and crazy when it comes to the boys. We love them so much and want them to love their time here. We needed to find an incredible design that would grow with the boys.
