Okay here's the deal. The
whales that are currently in captivity cannot be returned to the wild
due to medical issues and some were born in captivity. I do agree that
no new whales (and dolphins) should be taken for entertainment purposes.
As for those that are already in facilities such as Sea World, they
need to be kept there. The Blackfish movie is not a true account per
say. These animals are wild, always have been. If people let their
guards down, that is their own stupidity. It is the same thing that
happened with Roy from Sigfreid and Roy that was attacked by a tiger.
Comfort with a wild animal should never outweigh safety concerns.
