Banana Cream Cake

My husband's family LOVES banana cream pie. When we all get together, there is never enough pie to go around. I decided to create a cake that would remind everyone of banana cream pie. This recipe was a huge success.

1 yellow cake mix
1 small instant banana pudding mix
1 large instant banana pudding mix
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
3 cups milk
1 large cool whip container
5-6 bananas

Prepare yellow cake mix as directed. Stir in small instant banana pudding mix. Pour into 11X15 pan and bake 20 minutes.

Beat cream cheese with 1 cup milk until well blended. Add large pkg instant banana pudding mix and 1 cup milk. Beat until smooth. Add remaining 1 cup of milk and beat well.

Spread pudding mixture over warm cake and refrigerate. Cut bananas into slices. Toss with dash of lemon juice.

Place banana slices over top to cover cake. Spread cool whip over top of cake. Refrigerate until serving.
