Craftiness of late

When I'm not reviewing products, I'm searching Pinterest for the latest cute craft. I had a friend request help with her daughter's Halloween costume. My friend is a single mom who has MS. I was excited to make something cute for a little girl.

Review of Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil

I ran out of Olive Oil. It is all that I cook with. I mentioned my plight to my neighbor shortly after telling her about my shipment of coconut oil from Tropical Traditions. She insisted that I use this coconut oil in place of olive oil. I was skeptical because I didn't want everything to taste like coconut. I love coconut flavor but there are certain things that it doesn't go with. I spoke to another friend about coconut oil and she told me about all of the non-cooking uses for this oil as well. My coconut oil journey has begun. I tossed popcorn with the coconut oil instead of butter. It was tasty but I needed a bit more flavor. I believe that next time I will use more oil. I rubbed the oil on my husbands and my dry feet. I don't have cracked heels anymore. I put about 1 T. into bath water and came out feeling moisturized instead of dry. I used a sugar-coconut oil scrub on my feet. It was heaven. I have been wanting to make a coconut cream cake for quite a while and can't wait to use the coconut oil instead of regular oil. I believe that I am hooked. Thanks again to Tropical Traditions for introducing me to an amazing product.

Review of "Wolfsangel" by Liza Perrat

Liza Perrat has done it again. "Wolfsangel" was a book that I could not put down. The continued story of another generation of Angel Maker's was fascinating.World War II has always interested me since my grandfather was involved. The historical basis of this book opened my eyes to events which happened. The readers follow Céleste Roussel through her journey from girl to womanhood. Céleste wanted so badly to make a difference and help bring her village back to normal. Her adventures as Gabrielle proved that Céleste was vital to the resistance. I look forward to more books from this series as the delicately carved angel moves from generation to generation.

Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta

I haven't used sun-dried tomatoes much in my past. I was excited to be approved for the promo. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I used this opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. My first experiment was to toss the julienned sun dried tomatoes with tortillini. I love it. Review of Baby Safe Ink Print Kit

I love DIY gifts. I am always looking for ways to make personalized gifts for my friends and family members. I was excited for the opportunity to try the Baby Safe Ink Print. My best friend has a birthday next month. I watch her kids about once a week. I thought that this product would be a fun idea for a gift. I got the kids together for our printing session. Livi is 5 and Noah will be 2 in December. Livi had the idea to print her hands and Noah's feet. I thought she was a bit crazy because Noah is an active toddler. I worked with Livi first. I opened the package and pressed the ink sheet onto Livi's hand. I then pressed her hand to the paper provided. We then repeated with the other hand. I was amazed at the details shown in the lines of her hands and fingers. I then went to Noah. He was easier than I anticipated. I pressed the ink pad to his foot and got a perfect print. I liked that the ink was easily cleaned off with the wipes that were provided. All in all, it was a good experience. My friend has a baby due any time. I can't wait to use the ink on her newborn.
